Day 1

Day 01 -Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport,

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel Check in (Official check in time is 15h00) * Accommodation at Silverbirch at Birchwood on a Bed and Breakfast basis Includes: Breakfast Excludes: Any services not specified. The Silverbirch Hotel is an elegant Johannesburg hotel that has been designed and decorated with a certain finesse. The Silverbirch Hotel is set in pristinely manicured gardens that give the hotel an air of tranquillity in the hustle of the city of gold. There is a sparkling swimming pool to lounge at on summer days, there is a well equipped gym for those wanting to stay in shape and there is the Mangwanani Spa that offers a range of delightful treatments to while away the stresses of modern life. Silverbirch Hotel also offers a selection of eateries that serves authentic South African cuisine as well as international favourites. *Note: Clients need to proceed to the shuttle transfer area for a free shuttle service to the Hotel. Day 02 - Check out of the hotel and transferred from hotel to OR Tambo International Airport for your domestic flight to Port Elizabeth

This afternoon lunch will be served at the lodge (depending on time of arrival). Accommodation at Kwantu Lions View Villas in a Standard Room Includes: Welcoming Snacks and Beverages. 2 game activities per night stay. Visit to our Predator Educational and Rehabilitation Centre (included as a game activity). Buffet Dinner. Breakfast. Lunch and beverages with meals (Please note that Kwantu Private Game Reserve is an alcohol-free environment). Kwantu Game Reserve is an African reserve of superior distinction. It is located in South Africa’s Eastern Cape and is 6000 hectares. Kwantu Game Reserve is a Big 5 area and is a destination that will provide an authentic safari adventure where the likes of rhino and lion traverse the African wilderness. You will find your days being spent on thrilling game drives, walking safaris and even bird watching, immersing yourself into this wild continent. The Kwantu Game Reserve is also home to the Kwantu Elephant Sanctuary, the Education and Rehabilitation Centre as well as a Reptile Centre. There are a selection of leisure activities that will have you relaxed after days of exploring. This evening enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Day 03

Day 03 -

This morning breakfast will be served at the lodge Today you are at the lodge to enjoy the facilities of the reserve including morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch will be served at the lodge. This evening enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Day 04

Day4 - Check out of the lodge and meet with your drivers for transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport and connect with your overland transfer Garden Route (George).

The Protea Hotel King George is perfectly positioned for exploration of the Garden Route. Centrally located in George, this 4-Star hotel overlooks the George golf course and is in driving distance to many other highly-rated courses in region making it ideal for golfing enthusiasts. The hotel is also family-friendly and runs a Prokidz entertainment programme on week-ends and in school holidays. With a charming atmosphere, friendly staff and comfortable rooms, the King George is a great choice of Garden Route accommodation. The Fairway Terrace Restaurant’s menu is varied with classical and contemporary dining options while the Rex Tavern boasts an extensive selection of local and international drinks as well as having a pool table. Day 05

Day5 - Cango Caves Heritage Tour

Oudtshoorn’s famous Cango Caves can be explored on a guided tour (all guides are accredited) and is one of Africa’s most spectacular natural formations with vast caverns, beautiful, delicate and sometimes majestic stalagmites and stalactites and dripstone caverns. Some of these formations have quirky names that include 'glass flower fantasy' and 'weird cango candle'. The Cango Caves have been formed over millions of years to create this enchanting subterranean world. Duck, crawl and manoeuvre your way through this limestone wonderland. It is one of the Garden Route's most beautiful attraction.
Day 05

Cango Wildlife Ranch

The entrance fee for the Cango Wildlife Ranch is R160 but does not include the animal encounters that are at an additional charge. The standard ticket includes a 60 min. Valley of the Ancients Guided Tour. On this tour, you will see an ancient temple that is inhabited by giant flying foxes, exotic birds and other fascinating species. This themed walk through experience is sure to enthral and educate on modern conservation issues.
Day 05

The Safari Ostrich Farm

The Safari Ostrich Farm is a working ostrich farm in the popular town of Oudsthoorn on the celebrated Garden Route. It was established in 1956 and has been delighting visitors ever since. It is often referred to as a must see. On a guided tour, you will learn and see all the aspects of ostrich farming as well as the ostriches themselves. Everything from the miracle of hatching to the incubator room is shown and experienced. The Safari Ostrich Farm is also home to the beautiful and rare White Ostrich. There are two restaurants that serve delicious home-made ostrich dishes, if you want to try an ostrich fillet and shopping is a treat, with a wide range of well crafted ostrich leather products or intricate ornamental ostrich eggs.
Day 06

Day 06

This morning breakfast will be served at the hotel Enjoy a full day trip to Tsitsikamma National Park. Take a Brief stop at the Bloukrans Bridge for an opportunity for Bridge walk or Bungee Jump. (Excluding: All Entrance and Activities). Proceed for time at leisure at the park, all activities will be on clients own account. Lunch (Continental) will be served at a restaurant. Towards the afternoon proceed to Knysna Lagoon Front for some time for shopping and leisure before returning back to the hotel. This evening enjoy dinner at a local Indian Restaurant

Day 07 -

This morning breakfast will be served at the hotel Check out of hotel and meet with your guide for an overland transfer to Cape Town. There are two restaurants at the Southern Sun Cape Sun, Riempies Restaurant and the New York inspired Le Bar and Lounge. Day 08 Table Mountain (weather permitting)

This morning breakfast will be served at the hotel Today enjoy a half day city orientation tour & shopping accompanied by your English-speaking guide including Table mountain Cable Car return ticket included. Table Mountain (weather permitting) Guests will take a trip to the top of the world, high above the clouds on the famous Table Mountain. Table Mountain is an icon in Cape Town and is most likely the most photographed landmark in the country. Table Mountain has been named as on the seven wonders of nature and attracts millions over visitors from all across the globe, in fact, since the opening of the aerial cableway in 1929, more than 22 million people have taken the trip to the top. At the upper cable station, guests will find a restaurant and a curio shop as well as some footpaths for exploration. This afternoon lunch will be served at a local Indian Restaurant. Day 09 - Seal Island Cruise

This morning breakfast will be served at the hotel This morning join your English-speaking guide for a full day Peninsula Tour. Seal Island Cruise Take to the ocean on the only glass bottomed passenger launch in South Africa. Circe Launches has been taking enthusiastic travellers to the Cape Fur Seal and Sea Bird Colony at Duiker Island in Hout Bay since 1972. View the kelp forests and abundant sea life from two glass viewing ports at the bottom of the boat. With ample outside deck seating, you can sit comfortably and observe the Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment, the vessel is usually within metres of this majestic and social animals.

Hout Bay Harbour

Step into the working harbour of Hout Bay at the end of Cape Town’s Atlantic seaboard for an authentic fishing village experience from the colourful fishing boats moored on the dock to the range of fish markets, restaurants, street markets and shops set overlooking the bay. Indulge in fresh seafood, fabulous views, adventure activities and shopping experiences – everything from jewellery and maritime artefacts to seashells and more. The beach stretches from here to Chapman’s Peak in the east.

Locals call this famous scenic drive that winds its way between Hout Bay and Noordhoek on Cape Town’s stunning Atlantic Ocean coastline “Chappies”. The toll route stretches nine kilometres along the coast taking over 100 curves in a road carved out by prisoners of war in the mid-1910s over a seven-year period. On the one side are towering cliffs and on the other a steep drop to the ocean. A favourite with visitors and locals alike for scenic hikes, cycles and drives, as well as picnicking.

Cape Point Funicular

The Flying Dutchman Funicular takes passengers uphill from the car park of the Cape Point Nature Reserve (a Natural World Heritage Site) to the old lighthouse sited at 249m overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views from the lighthouse are spectacular and the air, coming off the Antarctic, is among the purest in the world. The funicular is believed to be the only commercial one of its kind in Africa and is named after a local legend of a ghost ship. The short three-minute trip passes through 585m of dense fynbos and over rocks to the upper lighthouse. The two cars can carry 40 passengers at a time and trips run continuously.

Boulders Beach

General Terms & Conditions – International Holidays

  • Rates are valid only for Indian Nationals, for any other nationality please speak to our tour experts.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is from 1400 hours to 1600 hours and check out 10.00 am to 12.00 hours.
  • International hotels general breakfast timings are between 6:30 am-10:00 am.
  • Grant-of visa is solely on the discretion of the particular country’s Immigration Authority and Bharath Travels is not
    responsible for any non-grant of visa to traveler.
  • You are requested to strictly follow visa procedures and passport validity 6 months from date of return. Even for countries which offer Visa On Arrival, we request you to be get your Visa’s before departures as it might take too much of your
    time at the arrival.
  • We recommend you to buy travel insurance at an additional cost through Bharath Travels sales agent before departing
    for your travel.
  • When we say that your transport (arrivals, departures and sightseeing) will be by ‘seat-in-coach basis’, all we mean is that a comfortable van / bus/ coach will be provided to you depending upon the total number of arrivals. Please note we will be Clubbing passengers arriving around similar time and dropping at various hotels. In case you don’t approve of the same, we recommend you to book a private vehicle at a supplement cost.
  • It shall be solely your responsibility to hold valid travel documents like passports, visas and other statutory clearances like

  • A child traveling for whom ‘without a bed’ charge has been paid would not be entitled to a separate bed or rollover based on the hotel policy. Tour & Payment Policy:

  • The airfares and taxes are calculated as on a mentioned date and any increase in the airport taxes or airfares will be borne by the customer.
  • For customized / FIT (Free Individual Travel) package, the cost is calculated on lowest class air fare. Airline seat confirmation is subject to availability at the time of booking and any increase in air fare or airport taxes has to be borne by the client.
  • Payments for land component (towards hotel, transfers and sightseeing in foreign country) will be taken as per Rate of exchange (ROE) on the day of making final payments.
  •  Any customized or recommended tour itinerary posted on the website is only a proposed holiday outline. We are not holding any confirmed hotel reservations for your travel. The same is subject to availability at the time of booking. The

  •  Weekend or other surcharges may be applicable over and above the package cost for the requested period. Bharath Travels will inform you of such costs at the time of booking or before confirming the package.

Cancellation Policy

  •  Post confirmation of services, you or any member of your group may cancel travel plans at any time by sending a written notification or an e-mail addressed to the Bharath Travels representative who made the booking, to our office .The same is
    applicable in case you want to make any change like the travel date or accommodation in your travel arrangements.
  • All costs incurred due to amendment of any of the above issues, will be borne by the individual himself.
  • Bharath Travels reserves the right to change/modify or cancel your travel arrangements at any point of time.
  • In the event that a client is unable to travel on the tour originally booked by him/her, due to rejection of visas by the concerned embassy, the said client shall have the option to postpone his/her tour to any other future date or transfer his tour
    to any other tour and in such case the transfer fee for the transfer of the tour shall apply. However, if the client books and pays within the cancellation period and is unable to travel due to any reason whatsoever including non-availability of visas or any travel documents, the cancellation policy will apply.
